I try to eat an overall healthy diet, I definitely have my off days so whenever I find a good recipe that is sweet and tart while still being healthy I always get a little excited. I made an original lemonade as well as a strawberry lemonade, while I would have tweaked the original lemonade recipe slightly, they were both quite delicious.
(tweaked) original lemonade
Ingredients:
1-1 1/2 cup lemon juice to taste
1 cup ice
3 tablespoons honey to taste
1 liter water
2 packets of stevia
Instructions:
Blend lemon juice, water and ice. Sweeten with honey and stevia. Serve chilled.
strawberry lemonade
Ingredients:
about 2 cups whole fresh strawberries
1 cup ice
3 tablespoons honey to taste
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 liter water
1 packet stevia
Instructions:
Blend strawberries, water, ice and lemon juice. Sweeten with honey and stevia. Serve chilled.
you may or may not have seen/tried this recipe before but I'd highly recommend it, I will be making this a lot more often.
